There are moments in a winery’s journey that feel especially rewarding, and we’re delighted to share one of them with you. Our Queensberry Pinot Noir 2024 has been awarded 95 Points and a Gold Medal at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards.

Crafted from our home vineyard in Queensberry, this wine captures everything we love about Central Otago Pinot Noir – purity, vibrancy and a true sense of place. As the heart of Nanny Goat Vineyard, Queensberry continues to produce wines of remarkable character, and we’re incredibly proud to see this special site recognised on the world stage.

The Decanter judges described the wine as: “Ambrosial lavender, plum and raspberry fragrance melts into the supple oak structure, underscoring the crunchy texture and tangy acidity. Captivating cranberry acidity adds verve and vigour.”

This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our vineyard and winery teams, whose pursuit of exceptional Pinot Noir drives every decision we make from the vineyard rows in Queensberry through to the final bottling. As we celebrate our 20th year, achievements like this remind us why we continue to chase the magic of great Pinot Noir and explore the unique personalities of Central Otago’s remarkable sites.
